Project 13 Paranormal Investigations

We have officially purchased and received new equipment to assist us in our future investigations.  We are currently testing the new equipment to ensure we have a complete and full knowledge on how to properly use the new devices.  Two of the new devices we are extremely excited about are the Ovilus III and the Mel Meter.  We intend to experiment with each device within the next few weeks in preparation for an upcoming investigation at a local alleged "haunt". 

Until then we will be making some improvements and updating our website.  With these updates and improvements several areas of the website may change and/or be removed.  As we confirm more details for our future investigations we will release this information on here and our facebook page. 

We greatly appreciate your support over our long hiatus and hope you continue to support and follow along with us on our projects and hopefully you guys can help us get our name out there, share our website, youtube, facebook and twitter accounts with anyone who may be interested.

Due to recent comments on a video published to Youtube by Spirit Advocate Bonnie Vent, Project 13 would like to clarify a few things. First off, we secured an investigation back in April 2011 with the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Old Town San Diego. While conducting our research we came across Bonnie Vent and her interviews she had done at the establishment. We were aware of her background as a Spirit Advocate and decided to contact her and discuss what history she knew of the Cosmopolitan Hotel. We set up an interview that was recorded onto video with Ms. Vent in room 4/5. This interview went in a completely different direction than what we expected. Ms. Vent claimed to have channeled multiple spirits. At first, this did seem a bit eerie. Just the look in her eyes was unsettling. This was our first time EVER working with a Medium or Spirit Advocate. At the end of the interview, we really didn't know what to think except that it was a little weird. There was something deffinitely paranormal in that room with us, but whether or not it was due to Ms. Vent, we don't know.

A week had past and an independant female author had contacted Bonnie Vent who was staying at the Hotel Del Coronado in room 3327, the Kate Morgan "Lottie Bernard" room. Ms. Vent had requested for Project 13 to film this interview. During the interview, things felt uneasy. It wasn't the feeling of spirits or something eerie, it was what Ms. Vent was telling this woman that had contacted her. We felt everything Ms. Vent was saying was untrue. These were our personal feelings. We are not saying Ms. Vent is a fake. That's up to you. But we decided we will no longer keep in contact with Ms. Vent. The ONLY reason Project 13 ever contacted her was due to her experiences at locations we planned to investigate. We tried something and it didn't work and we feel it hindered our investigation at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

So to everyone who has watched the video of us interviewing Ms. Vent on Youtube, we would just like to say it was an experiment that we wish never happened and had no part of. We are not and will never be associated with Ms. Vent again. After that experience, we decided that we will never go to a psychic, medium, spirit advocate or whatever you want to call it again for research.

The team recently purchased a couple of new devices. The Talker ITC and EM Pump version 2 from Bill Chappell over at Digital Dowsing. Two EM Pumps and Talker were placed on a little girls grave at El Campo Santo Cemetery in Old Town San Diego. The Talker does make a lot of "noises" but we did hear some actual words in direct responses to our questions. The video is posted here on our site. Fast forward towards the last 10 minutes of the video to see a lot of activity coming out of the Talker. We plan to use these devices on future investigations.

On July 19th 2011, Travel Channels Ghost Adventures conducted a paranormal investigation of the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casa de Estudillo in Old Town San Diego. Spiritual Advocate Bonnie Vent is apparently filling a claim against the Ghost Adventures Crew due to false research and recent interview with Huffington Post. Project 13 has no association with Ms. Vent's claim and alligations. We, Project 13 support the Ghost Adventures Crew. Prior to our investigation of the Cosmopolitan Hotel, we did an interview with Ms. Vent about the history of the property. This was the first time we had ever worked with a medium and it was for research of the hotel purposes ONLY. We did not distribute any of the video. Ms. Vent was given the video of our interview with her where, but we did not agree to her posting the video to YouTube. In the video, Again, we do not support any of Ms. Vent's claims against the Ghost Adventures Crew. Project 13 and Bonnie Vent do not work together. Project 13 believes the Cosmopolitan Hotel is very active with spirits. We're planning another investigation of the Cosmopolitan due to falsified information from Ms. Vent. Project 13

We just finished an investigation at a private residence. We captured some great evidence of multiple spirits. A lot of interacting with the spirit world that night. Evidence will be posted soon.

Wednesday April 13, 2011 Project 13 will be filming their documentary and investigating the Cosmopolitan Hotel, formerly known as La Casa De Bandini.

The teams documentary entitled "Project 13" will begin filming in spring 2011. The team is currently going through a list of documented and undocumented paranormal locations in San Diego and plans to investigate 13 of the most highly active locations in San Diego. Project 13 will be revisiting the Hotel del Coronado and do a follow-up investigation of the Kate Morgan room and for the first time, the Maid's Quarters in a double investigation. There is no current release date.
